September 2011 : Truro Crown Court


The Defendant was charged with Section 20 of the Offences against the Persons Act 1861; Grievous Bodily Harm, which included an eye wound requiring 8 stitches. The Victim was left with residual scarring. Kicking and stamping were also involved. The sentence following mitigation was 46 weeks custody, suspended for a period of 2 years, with a 2 year supervision order alongside 120 hours of unpaid work.
